Gary Antuanne Rusell says Devin Haney is “Washing up” After watching his actions against Jose Ramirez on the 2nd map on May 2 at Times Square in New York. WBA Light Welterweight Champion, Gary Antuanne, says Haney (32-0, 15 COs) is pure ‘trash’ and spiritual “Break” From the beat, he took Ryan Garcia last year in April.
Russell does not say whether he thinks that Haney can regroup and rebuild to become the fighter he once was. But with the way he spoke, it sounds like he doesn’t believe Haney can come back from this loss.
Russell calls Haney “Washed Up”
‘Trash. Devin Haney is now broken. Ryan Garcia finished the boy broke. Ryan Garcia put him down, hurt him and did it all and put a pat on him. Now, now, now, He doesn’t even fight against the the same, ” said Gary Antuanne Russell Millcity BoxingRespond to Devin Haney’s last performance against Jose Ramirez.
Haney looked 100% scared against Ramirez from the moment the fight started until it ended. It wasn’t just Haney who played it safe to ensure that he came to the Ryan Garcia Rematch in one piece. He just looked scared. Tim Bradley believes Haney shows Signs of PTSDA mental health problem experiencing war after undergoing traumatic events.
A soldier who is still on the front lines that has PTSD is ineffective because of their judgment. Haney did not perform the way he was used to, and frightened the whole battle against what many fans saw as a rinsed fighter in Ramirez.
“He fought this Spanish man (Ramirez), and he only hit 74 the whole fight, if it (note: Haney landed 70 of 224 shots).” Any hard shots he threw were probably a stitch to the body. He just threw a few hooks, and his hooks were not difficult. Were they clean? Okay, I’ll give you it, but they weren’t even no effective pushing. ‘
Devin seemed to not trust his ability to take one of Ramirez’s shots. He treats himself as if he were a one -time knockout artist rather than a man with decent power. Some fans believe that Haney had a flashback in the ring, and remember the horror to be on the war front against Ryan Garcia. If Devin’s mind flows back to the Garcia struggle, it’s no wonder why he didn’t throw shots.
Russell questioned the future of Haney
“It wasn’t like no effective shots he was fully committed to. It was afraid of shots, ‘Gary Antuanne said about Haney. “You could see in him that his heart was not quite there. Hopefully it holds him over until his next battle, because I don’t know who the hell he has for his next struggle. I just know he’s he’s Personally trash. He was washed up. I never thought he was good anyway.
“I just thought he was a good listener, and he tried to imitate Floyd (Mayweather) to the best of his ability, but trash,” Russell said.
If Haney continues to fight as he did against Ramirez in other battles, it is safe to say that he has been rinsed. Right now, we can only say that Devin doesn’t look good against Ramirez.
