If you are not unknown with a 17-year-old YouTuber named Gabby, I will allow him to slide at the moment.
After all, you are a serious person (good, semi -serious, anyway Rick Shiels, Peter Finch AND Bob does sport (I stated “Semi-Semous” …), so why would you know about a teenager whose game is better than yours and who looks more like a fashion influential than a golf?
Well, everything that will change.
Who is Gabby Golf Girl?
Let’s catch your semi -serious self to speed here.
Gabby Degasperis is a new, a golf player, a savage Successful YouTube Creator/Instagram Personality (approximately 1 million combined subscribers), and owner of one of the fastest growing channels across YouTube.
West Palm Beach, Florida, resident begins her day with the first time of day of day at her club, is done with 18 holes in 90 minutes, goes home again, then doing school, then head backward in the course. Degasperis competes on local junior shifts in Southern Florida, taking followers on her journey to improve her game, performing trick shots and getting in excellent condition.
She is what I dream of being-she already realized her and is not a 40-year-old boy, wanting him to make better life choices.
She is creating her content, looking directly on camera to talk to people, many are young girls who have begun to think that golf is cute. She is studying analytics to find out what her next video should be, based on her most successful ones. She worked with Bob does sports and Peter Finch. It already has sponsorship agreements with the likes of Taylormade, Shot Scope, Rhapsodo and Imi Living.
She is my new hero.
And she’s just starting.
A new classic
If, like me, you have not been super familiar with Gabby, this past creator classic is sure to have corrected that ignorance.
While she did not win (Horvat Got it home with a bird in the 17th icon in the TPC saw), it ”After the scene“The video is so far my favorite video” Experience “posted for what is really like being one of the players of this event.
To those of you who have not seen The classic creator (2025 TPC Version of Sawgrass) However, I will give you a brief summary: 10 content makers were chosen to compete (Kyle Berkshire, Tisha Alyn, Grant Horvat, Roger Stele, Soly of No Laying Up, Fat Perez of Bob does sportTrent Ryan I Fore Play, George and Wesley Bryan from Bryan Bros. and Gabby) where they played 10-17 holes in Sawgrass (under tour conditions, the day before the player championship began).
The top three endings in eight holes entered a play off to play once again the 17th. As expected by amateur players (for the most part –bareWe are watching you Wesley Bryan), there were some really terrible shots. But as a whole, the collected group of content creators did a good job to handle difficult course conditions, as well as added pressure to have current fans on the course.
If you have not seen the broadcast, it is it’s worth watching. While I can’t say there is a ton of amazing Golf, there is a lot to have fun. With special note, I liked to see Berkshire absolutely bombard some discs in undiscovered terrain, the noise of the crowd in Trent’s The 17th Epic hole (Believe me in this), and Moment of the whole broadcast: Fat Perez’s Crazy Set 17 with the call “Give us a moment, FP” to Dan Rapaport giving absolute goosebumps.
Head and shoulders above
But, through all, the person I kept returning was this 17-year-old who refused to stop smiling, sign autographs for fans, and ultimately, having fun.
One thing to go out and play a dusk nine with your friends. It is another thing, entirely, to get up in the Dawn rift, quarrel your whole family into a van, go to the Sharra TPC, interview after interviewing, signing autographs, warming up, sitting for more interviews, warming up again, trying to get a medium -sized meaning.
The color impressed me.
Sincerely, the thing that makes Gabby so highly visible is that, through all this difficulty (I know “experience” sounds like a strong choice of words, but think of the above, how it should have been that day, then imagine you are 17 years old … and imagine how you would treat it), she refused to stop signature, doing pictures, doing pictures, doing pictures, doing pictures, taking pictures, speaking with her fans and being too wild.
She was really happy to be there, and that showed.
Did she win the Classic Creator? No, she does not. It completed the T-6, at +6, four strokes from the result needed to make play-off.
But this is not the only definition of the “winner” from this broadcast. If you consider the amount of fans she gained by her behavior, her ability, her stay on the course and her absolute joy to be there? Yes … she won. She won great.
And she will continue to win for years and years, if we are lucky.
We dare not enjoy
Go to take a look at her channel, and I think you’ll agree – the child has something quite magical. She has some extraordinary videos with some of the biggest names on youtube Golf (including Peter Finch, Brooke Henderson, Bros., and more), as well as a ton of other videos featuring D1 players, state champions, etc.
What really shines in every video is just how much FUN It has. As the father of a pre-adolescent girl, it is a dream to imagine that she would find something as fun as this (it will not be golf, unfortunately, as she rolls her eyes from her head whenever she brings it-but I will never give up on the dream), and the idea that a child can get better AND Be this fun as you do it is really something to see.
I can have some issues with the Creator Classic series as a whole – as why in WORLDWIDE Don’t we have each of them mic’d up and listening to Banter? It is a word that they are the best in the world, but on the contrary we are listening to the notifiers tell us what is happening? Such a lost opportunity!
But from the complaints I have, presenting a child like Gabby is eventually not one of them.
She has a magic, and I can’t recommend it and its channel enough –SPECIALLY If you have a new golf player at home.
