METZ (FRA, February 8). Femke Boll clocked 1:59.07 in her first serious race at the 800m Meeting Metz Moselle Athlélor (WIT Silver), a short course NR and PB, with Switzerland’s Valentina Rosamilia second (1:59.90 PBi). Mattia Furlani won the top long jump battle with 839 WL/=PB (x-838-833-828-839-823), with the next best jump coming from Bozhidar Sarabojkovic 839 WL/NR (794-815-832783-3) (790).

Jan Shrub won the 3000m with a time of 7:29.38 el/nr ahead of Ruben Keringjian of Luxembourg (7:40.64 nr.). Tina Schuttey won the pole and Patrizia van der weken clocked 7.08 to win the 60m from Holland’s Minke Bischops (7 (7.95 PB). Henriette Jaeger won the 400m in 50.61, ahead of Emma Zapletalova (50.78 G) and Luriel (30.78 G). Kenya’s Mercy Oketch won the C-race (51.53 nri) in a clean sweep of the Ethiopian 3000m, Birtukan Mollah in 8:40.49 ahead of U20 runners Shito Gumi (8:41.18) and Aster Areri (8:41.5). 3:35.83 Australia’s Adam Spring (3:35.89 PBI) and Ignacio Fontes (3:36.23 PBI), while Algeria’s Mohamed Ali Guamed won the 800m in 1:44.67 over NRI Jordan Terras (1:45.57 PBI).

Fast winning times in all three 200m races: Jael Bestué 22.69 NRi, Torrie Lewis 22.70 and Lurdes Gloria Manuel 23.06 PB. Attila Molnar was fastest in the 400m with 45.57, as was Muhammad Abdallah Kounta with 45.82 PBi in another heat.
