Defending champions India are set to face New Zealand ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Final A galaxy of cricket legends and broadcast stars will bring every ball to life for millions of viewers around the world at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the T20 World Cup 2026, has assembled a truly global commentary panel featuring former captains, World Cup winners and renowned voices from the world of cricket.
The English feed for the summit clash will feature some of the most recognizable voices in world cricket, led by the dynamic quartet of Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith and Ian Bishop. Shastri’s infectious energy and signature expressions have made him a fan favourite, while Hussain brings keen tactical analysis enriched by years of captaincy experience.
One of India’s greatest batsmen, the legendary Sunil Gavaskar will also participate in the English panel, sharing his deep understanding of the game with a global audience. He is joined by the articulate Harsha Bhogle, who is regarded as the voice of cricket for his eloquent stories and insightful commentary.
Former World Cup-winning captains Eoin Morgan (England, 2019 ODI World Cup) and Aaron Finch (Australia, 2021 T20 World Cup) add modern tactical expertise, while Dinesh Karthik and Robin Uthappa, both of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup-winning batsmen, bring batting experience.

Tamil commentators
The Tamil film brings together legendary names including former India captain Chris Srikkanth, his son Anirudha Srikkanth and former India opener Abhinav Mukund. They are joined by S Badrinath, KV Sathyanarayanan, Sriram S and Sadagopan Ramesh.
Telugu commentators
Former India Test batsman Hanuma Vihari heads the Telugu panel along with former India pitching coach R Sridhar, former chief selector MSK Prasad and former cricketers Ashish Reddy, T Suman, NC Kaushik and Kalyan Krishna.
Bengali commentators
The Bengali tape features Sreevats Goswami, Saradindu Mukherjee, Subhomay Das, Raja Venkat, veteran journalist Gautam Bhattacharya and several other prominent voices.
Marathi commentators
Former India wicketkeeper Kiran More headlines the Marathi panel along with Salil Ankola, Aditya Tare, Chaitanya Sant and Prasanna Sant.
Bhojpuri and Haryanvi commentators
The finale will feature commentary in Bhojpuri and Haryanvi for Bhojpuri, including Saurabh Kumar, Shivam Singh, Ghulam Hussain and Shalinee Singh. Meanwhile, Manvinder Bisla, Anil Chaudhary, Sumit Narwal and Ashish Hooda lead the Haryanvi coverage.
Hosts and studio presenters
While the ICC has announced the full commentary line-up, the list of presenters and studio hosts for the final includes several familiar faces. Mayanti Langer, one of India’s most respected sports broadcasters, will be present at the pre-match and post-match presentation.
Other notable presenters include Jatin Sapru, who is on the Hindi commentary panel, and Raunak Kapur, who is part of the global broadcast team.
Former New Zealand women’s cricketer Katey Martin is set to add an international perspective to studio presentations, while Natalie Germanos and Cass Naidoo bring their extensive broadcasting experience to the coverage.
