Joseph Parker and his team want a title shot against the United three-belt heavyweight champion Oleksandr uksyk next to their second round victory over a rough-out-of-the-shaped 315-pound Martin Bakole last Saturday at the Riyadh venue, Saudi -Arabia.

Parker should fight baking in a rematch after being through a full camp of 10 weeks and losing 40+ pounds to get to a reasonable weight. That would be the righteous thing. An alternative would be Parker to fight against Agit Kabayel. The winner gets a title shot and comes back in line.
Bakole (21-2, 16 COs) came in on two days of notice and was flattened by a right hand of Parker in round two of this disappointing blowout in the main support on the Artur Betterbiev against Dmitry Bivol 2 card. These two battles could not deliver the excitement hoped for during the building of Saturday’s event.
