Fritz, Tiophoe, Pegula, Badosa Headline Mubadala Citi DC Open Player Field

Washington DC Tennis fans will enjoy a player field studied with stars for this year Mubadala quotes DC Open coming later this summer.

The long starting event in the North American difficult court season, and the only combined ATP/WTA 500 event will feature seven Top-10 players this year on both tours, eight of the top 14 ATP and six of the best WTA.

The field also includes five Grand Slam and 16 Americans, including the nine of the best American men, all determined to compete for the title.

The top -ranked Americans Taylor Fritz AND Jessica Pegula are set to compete along with local favorites Frances Tiophoe And the sample of a women’s women celibacy of last year Paula Badosa.

The latest additions to the player include the last four-time champion and the ex-world number 1 Naomi Osaka, Roland-Garros semifinalist Lorenzo Masetti2021 US Open Champion Daniil Medvedev, World no. 10 Ben Shelton2020 Australian Open Champion Kenin Sofia2016 DC Open Champion Gael monfilsWorld no. 13 and 2025 Doha Champion Amanda AnimovaWorld no. 11 and 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena RybakinaWorld no. 24 and 2024 DC Open finalist Flavio CobolliWorld no. 12 and champion of wta bachelors four-times Diana Janetand the world no. 17 and 2025 Miami Champion Jakub fascinatestogether with Emma Navarro and 2021 US Open Champion Emma Raducanu.

“I like to play in DC, and I especially love this tournament. I’m very happy to be back and compete again in front of the memorable stadium fans in this extraordinary city,” Raducanu said.

The 56th edition of the tournament will take place on July 19 – 27 at the William Hg Fitzgerald Tennis Center at Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC.

Mubadala Citi DC Open is the fifth -largest professional tennis event in the United States and continues to attract one of the most competitive and exciting areas of players in the difficult summer court calendar.
