
The 2025 World Championship of Technology continues on Friday with the second round at El Cardonal in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. How to watch the Tech World Cup on Friday
Thursday in El Cardonal, two up PGA Tour the stars put the pedal to the metal and didn’t let up all day. Two-time tournament winner Nick Dunlap AND Sami Valimaki shot an 11-under 61 in the opening round.
Neither player made a bogey on Day 1 to build a three-shot lead. They will head into the second round hoping to put more red on their scorecards.
Betting favorite Ben Griffin went seven under in the first round in Mexico, while JJ Spaun will start the 2nd round six shots back at five under.
Several players were unable to complete their rounds on Thursday. They will resume Round 1 at 7:15 a.m. ET Friday morning, with Round 2 beginning as scheduled.
