Alejandro Davidovich Fokina he wasn’t sleeping on the job today – he was too busy celebrating bedtime after a job well done.
Annoyed by loud cheers from French fans during his 7-6(5), 6-4 win over French wild card Arthur CazauxDavidovich Fokina put the French fans to sleep with his expression of the night party.

Watch Davidovich Fokina—not once, but twice—provide French fans with the mock catch-up move after his win. First the Spaniard plays in his sleep right after winning the match point, then after the post-match handshake, he returns to midfield to hit the French fans with a double dose of the nod, shouting “Come on!” for good measure.

It seemed as if Basel finalist Davidovich Fokina’s sleepy finish was his way of saying: “Hey French fans, sleep tonight.”
Needless to say, the French crowd on Court 2 did not take the Spaniard lightly, with some responding with jeers.
It was Davidovich Fokina’s second straight win over a French foe following his first round victory over lucky loser Valentin Royer.
There is no time to sleep for Davidovich Fokina. Next up for the 15th-ranked Spaniard is reigning champion Alexander Zverev.
