The New York Mets suffered their third loss after scoring eight or more runs in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series on Thursday.

With the Mets trailing in the series 3-1, they will face off in game five on Friday.

Things aren’t looking good for the Mets heading into the World Series, but MVP candidate Francisco Lindor had something to say about that.

According to MLB’s “X,” Lindor said: “If you don’t have faith, you shouldn’t be here. You have to believe, you have to fight for what you want.”

Lindor apparently believes the Mets can bounce back and make it three straight to appear in their first World Series since 2015.

He’s doing his part in the NLCS as he has four hits in 16 at-bats with one home run, one run, two runs scored and two walks.

The entire series consisted of games that weren’t all that close, with the closest game being the Mets’ seven-to-three win in Game 2.

The Mets fans will look to get behind their team for the third straight home game and take them to a win to force a sixth game in Los Angeles.

Lindor and the Mets offense will look to get things back on track as they have scored just five runs through four games and were shut out in games one and three.

Game 6, if necessary, will be played on Sunday back at Dodger Stadium.
