Below, some of the best teachers in the whole country shared their best tips for developing a faster golf swing. Try their tips to add more speed to your game.

1. Be intentional

The goal is 9/10 of the law. Move everyone! If you are not breathing too much, you are not making enough effort. When you work quickly, it is best to ignore your ball flight so that you do not lose attention to your target. Also, beware of a lot of tension in your hands, forearms and shoulders. – John Dunigan

2. Select the low hanging fruits

Mobility work increases your flexibility and allows you to extend your coil. This enhances the length that the Clubhead travels and improves your ranking, which is essential for creating speed. I also encourage my students to use slight control pressure and practice breathing techniques to stay calm. From there, it descends to make a conscious effort. Allow the wings, wrists and club to cross your body downward; The result is almost always a faster pace with a slight feeling. – Jeff Warne

3. Forget the ball, focus on distribution

The simplest way to increase speed is to remove the ball from the equation. Take three practical shakes back and forth without stopping. Rest for a minute. Then do it again, but this time try to swing even faster. Rest for a minute and repeat. As you gradually increase your speed every time, you will begin to understand your speed potential.

Now, add the ball again. You want to try and maxim your speed, or as close as possible, with a ball present. As you put your new speed on the ball, remember that where you give your speed is as important as you are swinging quickly. Many amateurs give their speed very early and end up slowing down through the impact. Keeping your speed forward is the key to developing a fast and reliable pace. —Im Murphy

4. Lies, then rotate

There is no way to swing faster. It is usually a case -by -case basis. However, I have discovered that learning to extend the lead side properly and rotate the bullets help many players shake faster as it increases vertical and torque forces. – Jonathan Yarwood
