Arsenal are in the market for a new striker and are ready to help Mikel Arteta challenge for the Premier League title once again this season.

The long-term injury suffered by Gabriel Jesús, who will be sidelined for the rest of the season, has made matters worse.
The Premier League giants have been linked with a number of strikers over the past year, with Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Dusan Vlahovic the most prominent.
Transfer news specialist Fabrizio Romano while writing for GiveMeSporthas provided the latest update on rumors of Arsenal making a move for Sesko.
Elvis Basanovic, the Bundesliga forward’s agent, has slammed reports that Sesko is close to joining Arsenal in a loan move.
In an interview, Basanovic has claimed that he has never spoken to Arsenal and that the striker is not close to joining the Gunners.
talking with GiveMeSportsaid:
“I don’t know where this story came from, but I have never spoken to Arsenal about a loan for Sesko.
“Sesko is not a loan player and it was never an issue with Arsenal or any other club. If you ask me if Sesko will move in January, I can only say that Sesko is an RB Leipzig player and he is fully focused on this”.
Asked about interest from the Gunners and Premier League rivals Chelsea, he said:
“RB Leipzig are the right people to ask these kinds of questions.”
Arsenal have made a ‘phone call to Man United’ to sign one of their star players
Reports linking Benjamin Sesko with Arsenal have been denied
The Gunners have no chance of signing Benjamin Sesko in January, despite the striker being highly regarded by the club.
RB Leipzig have made it clear that the striker is not for sale in January as they are having an injury-plagued season and cannot allow the striker to leave the club.
While the Gunners would love to have someone like him in their squad, they would have to wait until the summer transfer window to sign him.
All reports of a loan move to the north London club with an obligation to buy have been slammed by his agent which would break the hearts of Arsenal fans.
The Gunners will now have to explore other options in the market and they don’t have much left.
Another attacking being linked with a move to Arsenal he is Yoane Wassa from Brentford.
