How does PLAY off -II pga championship work
The PGA championship player uses an aggregate format with three holes.
Here is the official word from the event communication team:
“In the event of a tie for the first place after 72 holes, there will be a play-off the results of the aggregate with three holes in holes no.
Only five PGA championships need Play Off with three holes, the first of which came to Valhalla in 2000, when Tiger Woods beat Bob May. The last time the PGA championship needed a play off, Justin Thomas Beat Will Zalaatoris in 2022 PGA Championship.
