Ford Trophy 2024/25 Schedule: Date, Squads, Match Time, Broadcast and Live Stream Details



The Ford Trophyleading in a one-day domestic competition New ZealandIt is ready to start its 54th edition for the 2024/25 season. The tournament will start on October 20, 2024 and the grand final is scheduled for March 2, 2025. Fans can expect intense cricketing action as the teams battle it out for the prestigious title over the next few months.

Participating teams and tournament structure

The Ford Trophy 2024/25 will feature the following six teams:

  • Oakland Aces
  • Canterbury
  • Northern regions
  • Wellington Firebirds
  • Otago Volt
  • Central regions

In total, the tournament will consist of 32 matches played at 11 different venues around New Zealand. The group stage matches will end on February 23, 2025, followed by a qualifying match on February 28. The winners will then face off in the final on March 2.

Key dates and match schedule

  • Opening match: 20 October 2024
  • Last match of the group stage: 23 February 2025
  • Eliminator game: February 28, 2025
  • Championship final: March 2, 2025
