Forbidden Talk of “Lil Girl” Davis

Shakur Stevenson sent a message to his followers and media today and told them not to talk “Lil Girl” Gervonta Davis more to his post on social media, in which he said he was moving in “Eight weeks.”

Fans roast Stevenson’s social media outburst

Stevenson said not to talk about tank anymore because he was “officially going on”. Fans on social media enjoy it how Shakur has a tantrum about Gervonta to choose to retire in weight weeks after picking up a massive payday against Jake Paul on November 14 at Netflix in Miami, Florida.

Oh yes for future references, don’t ask me about the Lil Girl no longer.

“I’m … in 8 weeks,” Gervonta Davis said today, September 26, 2025, on X, and let fans know that he retires within eight weeks after tracking a huge career height against Jake Paul on November 14.

Interestingly, the Newark, New Jersey native, did not want to create his own way to build himself in a star like Gevonta. He just wanted him to give him a fight he didn’t try to earn.

Shakur’s desperation has driven the tank away

Tank would have given Shakur the chance if he didn’t look like that desperate, coconut, suffocating, and called him so often. It’s as abusive if someone is like that. You can understand why Davis didn’t want to give Stevenson the time a day.

Stevenson bothered Davis uninterrupted, apparently since moving to the lightweight division in 2023, who brought him to interviews, fans and the media tell how sure he was beating him. He came down to some fans as an obsession with tank and very needy.

Have to build its own stars

Now that Tank Davis has announced that he is retiring, Shakur will have to build his own career without being chased. What this means is that Stevenson should take real risks by fighting against the contenders in the lightweight section. Super featherweight Lamont Roach does not count because he is a poor puncher, and he does not fight at 135.

Rising lightweights Stevenson can no longer ignore

For Shakur to become a star, he will have to win his fight against Theofimo Lopez in 2026 and then have the Gauntlet through these lightweights:
