Five Golf Style Pieces I’m Weirdly Obsessed With Right Now

As MyGolfSpy’s resident style expert, I’ve made it pretty clear that I believe looking good should be a priority on the golf course. To me, good golf style lives at the intersection of timeless and sporty—pieces that feel classic, perform when they need to, and don’t look dated a season later. I’m always refining that balance, and every once in a while, a few items stick out and earn a permanent spot in the rotation. These are three pieces of golf style I came across this week that I’m strangely obsessed with right now.

Melin Coast Hydro Visor

Of course, I’m a ruler type. I’ll admit, for the longest time, I was one imperial purist, but I recently came across Mel and I just might be a convert. Where Imperial is the traditional golf visor, Seaside Melin Hygwart it bridges the gap between tradition and sport in the way I’m constantly looking for. I also really like the profile of this viewfinder. It’s sleek and doesn’t sit awkwardly on your head like many other rulers. It’s on the more expensive side, but I strongly believe it’s worth it.

Holderness & Bourne Ward Crewneck Sweater

This sweater is gorgeous. It’s that simple. Jacquard pattern in Holderness & Bourne Ward Crewneck it is both subtle and impressive – the definition of understated elegance. I get the Keith Mitchell vibe from this sweater, and if given the option, try to be more Keith Mitchell. You can wear this anywhere and easily look like the coolest, best dressed guy on the planet.

G/FORE MG4+ O2 G/LOCK Studded Golf Shoes

of MG4 O2/LOCK it’s not a “new” shoe from G/FORE, but this color sure is. I love everything about this shoe. While on the modern side, the MG4 O2/LOCK screams athletic golf. I am guilty of wearing mine In Cloudmonsters with a sweater, button-down shirt, and shorts are more than enough, and these perfectly capture that essence on the golf course. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love G/FORE. Simply put: these shoes are legit.

Uniqlo Mixed Stripe Leather Belt

Belts, let alone golf belts are incredibly expensive these days. it striped leather combination belt it’s from another one of my favorite brands, Uniqlo. I started shopping at Uniqlo when I was in college and I can honestly say I haven’t bought a bad thing there. If you didn’t know, I’m a huge fan of their golf poles AND sweatersand this belt is no different. If you want to look old Brooks Brothers cool, for less than $30, this belt lets you do it.

Timex Marlin® Quartz GMT

I love nothing more than seeing all the Rolexes and Omegas of the PGA Tour players, but I’m not a professional golfer and I think my wife would kill me if I bought a $5K watch. That said, you don’t have to spend thousands to get a nice watch, but you can for a few hundred. This is what I really like Timex. In case you didn’t know, for over 170 years, Timex has been making quality watches that shine ORDER above their weight, and I speak from personal experience. for now, Timex Marlin Quartz GMT it’s my favorite hour, and it’s not close. It would have looked perfectly at home in the 60s and looks perfectly at home today.
