First tee and won’t: don’t ruin your round before it starts

If you are not climbing to the first peak with high hopes, are you a golf player too? We all dream that perfect opening machine towards the center. The first Shota Shota hits differently and you only get one chance in it. Use these tips to make your first swing calculation and set yourself for 17 more entertainment holes, not disappointment.

✅ Have a “go in” club (even if it’s not a driver)

If your driver is your best club in your bag, this is great. However, if it is one of the worst, do not feel compelled to use it in the first tee. Sometimes, a reliable moving, hybrid or 3-druy iron will make deceit.

Outside first, take yourself on the lower road.

✅ Will need tension with a couple of oprecious Practice swinging

From the time you end up in the range until the time you reach the first peak, it can be 10 to 15 minutes. The tension begins to crawl over you and you begin to think about the risk of water on the right side, etc.

Before you hit, stand behind the ball and make some hinge practice shakes, much harder than you would do normally. Use this to release a closed energy and get the tension to disperse from the wings.

✅ Do you target small, lose small

Select a specific target point. The right path is too unclear to choose as the place you are aiming for. Choose a tree in the distance, a piece of grass or a slope on the right path you want to hit specially. If you do not aim for anything in particular, how can you know whether your goal was good or bad?

✅ Do your string session closing with a big stroke

Most players warm up with some wedges, hit through the bag and then maybe even calm down with some wedges before heading first. Instead, make your last last swings with the exact club you plan to hit in the first hole.

❌ Don’t get too much conservative (direction kills distance AND accuracy)

Street access and very conservative getting are two different things. Choose a club you can still be aggressive. Many players think that “safe” means getting a slower pace or guide the ball.

In reality, you have to commit to a club (maybe a more controlled one), but still swing freely and avoid running.

❌ Do not pass or change your pre-shop routine

You should have a pre-shop routine which should be the same in the first TeE as at 18. If you rush or slow down your routine, you send mixed signals that make it difficult to hit a brilliant first blow. Consistency in the pre-one routine is what makes it so effective.

❌ Remember to visualize the purpose you want

When the nerves crawl to the first top, it is easy to think of all the negative things that can happen. You will see the hit on top, roller, hook, slice – you get the idea.

Keep those thoughts from your head and visualize the blow you want to hit.

By joining all

If the first tee is still your nemesis, use these tips to help get yourself up to the second tee without a mess on the score card.

  • Choose one shot (or club) you trust.
  • Make some shakes of hard practice to release the tension.
  • Follow your normal pre-shop routine exactly, with a Small, specific target In mind.
  • Shakenot at half speed.
  • Complete your heat with the first hole club So your mind/body is synchronized.
