Fiorentina are reportedly preparing a bid for Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
Meslier has been with Leeds since joining from Lorient in 2019 and has made 198 appearances for the club to date, keeping 64 clean sheets and conceding 271 goals.

The Frenchman has grown in stature this season and has conceded just three goals in his last seven appearances, keeping four clean sheets in that time to take his campaign tally to 13.
Meslier’s name has recently appeared as a surprise goal for Manchester Unitedpotentially replacing Altay Bayindir as the #2 behind Andre Onana.
Meanwhile, former Leeds star David Norris urged the club to move on from their “inconsistent” goalkeeper.
“I think Meslier has started to look good in recent games, but the people I’ve spoken to who follow Leeds more closely are no longer convinced.” said the expert.
“Farke is likely to be looking at other options now. He has been too inconsistent and cost the club points this season. They just don’t seem to have the confidence in Meslier that they once had.”
Fiorentina is lining up the candidacy of Illan Meslier
The plot seems to have picked up regarding Meslier, who is now attracting the attention of Italian side Fiorentina.
This is according to TEAMtalk (via Leeds United news), who claim that viola is looking for a younger option between the sticks.
Fiorentina only signed Man Utd legend David de Gea in the summer on a free transfer, with the Spaniard conceding just 14 goals in 15 games in all competitions so far, keeping six clean sheets.
However, at 34, De Gea’s best days are definitely behind him, and Leeds could now go for Meslier in January in a bid to protect their goalkeeper position.
