It’s bad enough to be forced to recognize it as a proper boxing card, even for the sake of all the talented fighters that will appear in the undercard. It’s even worse knowing that we’re going to be stuck trying to explain this garbage fire to casual boxing fans who think it’s a proper boxing fight. The “no weight limit” tag on this cute little scam of a fight should be a warning shot to anyone with a basic knowledge of the sport. The “exhibition” part will make people wonder what exactly is on display. And the “rematch” bit should really be a “rubber match” tag, since these two had an infamous boxing match the first time around, followed by an immediate replay after the final bell that was just as action-packed as the fight itself, and just as awful too.
What to expect in this fight: Some will see a nice opportunity to see a boxing circus, I see an opportunity to watch a great undercard and then go to bed a little earlier than usual.
