Fenerbahce are keen to sign Aston Villa striker Jaden Philogene in the January transfer window.

Philogene has struggled for regular playing time at Aston Villa and has only started two league games for them this season. He needs more playing time at this stage of his career and the Turkish side could offer him that opportunity. He was highly rated in England before his move to Aston Villa and it will be interesting to see if he can regain his form and confidence.
Regular football in Turkey could help him bounce back strongly. Jose Mourinho could get the best of him.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, are well-stocked in wide areas and are unlikely to be able to provide him with enough game time in the second half of the season. It would make sense if they let the player go on loan so that he can continue his development with regular football.
Aston Villa need to improve their squad
Aston Villa are currently competing in the UEFA Champions League and will also be hoping to secure European qualification for next season. It will be interesting to see if they can plug the gaps in their squad during the January transfer window. Getting rid of some of their fringe players could help them bring in their own signings.
Aston Villa have looked quite vulnerable defensively and they should be looking for a quality centre-back. A reliable central midfielder could also be a quality addition.

If he can impress in Turkey in the second half of the season, he could secure a permanent move away from Aston Villa in the summer.
