Roger Federer is not only a 20-time Grand Slam champion, he is an avid tennis fan.

The Swiss maestro met the media in Berlin today ahead of this weekend’s Laver Cup clash.
Federer said he was ready to see the reigning Roland Garros and Wimbledon winner play in person – and joked he owed Alcaraz an apology.
“I barely know Carlos Alcaraz, so I’m very excited to see him play for the first time,” Federer said. “I only trained with him once at Wimbledon when he was still young, and then the next day, my coach said, ‘Do you want to warm up with him again?’
“And I said, ‘No, it’s OK, I’d rather warm up to his coach, who was my generation, Juan Carlos Ferrero’. I can apologize to Carlos this week.”
