Can be a sleepy season event but this week Baycurrent Classic boasts a small piece of titles – no matter what is being played in Japan.
Baycurrent Classic – formerly Zozo Championship – Starts Thursday at Yokohama Country Club in Yokohama, Japan, though it means it is a Wednesday start in the states.
Xander Schauffle is a favorite of betting at +1000 with Collin Morikawa (+1600) and Hideki matsuyama (+1800) that round up favorites.
Chris Gotterup, Min woo Lee, Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Adam Scott, Gary Woodland and Billy Horschel are also in the field.
Some of the racing players are going from last week’s Sanderson farms in Mississippi, while others had a rest time or were on Ryder Cup.

For this week Sports fanatics Bet of the Week, Podcast Subpar Colt Knost co-worker likes the chances of a professional who was in the last month’s Ryder Cup-but was not a player.
“I will see if these guys of Ryder Cup can continue him because this guy won in his last beginning, but he did not play in the Ryder Cup, he was a vice president,” Knost said, speaking to European Vice President Alex Noren, who won the BMW PGA Championship in Ryder Cup’s superiority. “He will go there and hit nine billion balls and be ready to go.”
Knost chose Nora in the Top 10 (+220), though Nora also has the fourth best chances to win at +200.
For his choice, Subpar Drew Stoltz co-worker chose Eric Cole to the top 20 (+210).
“I’ll go with a guy who just played this last week and played a good golf,” Stoltz said. “Eric Cole coming out of a top 10 in Sanderson. … I know it’s the long trip and everything; I don’t know if you will not choose the top boys – what is their level of interest? – or the boys who just played here but are traveling, I don’t really know, but I’m going with Eric Cole.”
