Despite Gopal falling late in the day, Agarwal’s presence saw Karnataka reach 176/5 as the shadows stretched in Hubballi.
The match did not have a dramatic stake. Day 2 was marred by a physical altercation when the J&K skipper Paras Dogra Karnataka has reportedly hit the nail on the head KV Anesh after a skiing incident. Agarwal had to play the role of peacemaker on this occasion, a trait he carried into his batting today.
