Lamont Roach reacted to criticism today about the supporters saying that he will treat his draw against Gervonta Davis as a kind of victory, go on a victory tour, interview, and act like a celebrity.
While WBA lightweight champion Tank Davis worked hard for a rematch, see supporters Roach in the wake of his draw. It looks pathetic, similar to how Edgar Berlanga celebrated his loss of Canelo Alvarez last September.
Challenging
Roach says he gives the media ‘good content’ with its interviews with them after his draw with the tank, and he has to ‘close the f *** up’ about it. It’s hard to do if you see a fighter as he sees. He must be in the gym and work on trying to increase his game because he gave away most of the first half of the fight by being unacceptable and the tank to control the action with his power play.
The re -broadcast between Davis and Roach has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be soon. Lamont (25-1-2, 10 COs) gets the chance to show that his draw was not a wave, but it is doubtful that he will do so. Tank comes better prepared in this battle, with a different mindset.
