Fall 2024 Cross Country Training and Race Schedule November 8, 2024 Saturday 8 Day 7 Sunday is your long run day.

The 2024 Cross Country season is here!

A long day is a fun day.

Most of the country has had its state meetings (California is the latest, on November 2). Many young people intercity

runners prepare for the NIKE NXN and 45th FootLocker Presented by HOKA Cross Country Championships.

Sunday is a long run.

Cross Country is the real key to developing as a distance runner.

Week 8, Day 7, Saturday, November 10, 2024

good warm up

75-90 minute long run at a moderate pace with some uphill sections,

cool well

Check your shoes and make sure your training shoes

are ready for another 10-14 weeks of training. (Most boots make up a 12-16 week workout)

If not, go to a local running store and find a pair or two of good training shoes.

We will talk about that soon.
