Pakistan National Cricket Team is all set to re-introduce Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq into the white-ball formation. According to reports in Pakistani media, it has been learned that the duo will return to the team during the upcoming tour to South Africa.
Pakistan National Cricket Team has dropped Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq from their white ball team. Both players were subjected to different scenarios to get sent off. Although the former was dropped due to his problems with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Iman was dropped from the team after the ICC World Cup 2023.

Imam-ul-Haq suspended after ICC World Cup 2023, Fakhar Zaman axed after dispute with PCB
As for Imam-ul-Haq, the left-hander has been dropped from the squad after his poor performance in the ICC World Cup 2023. The left-hander played the first few games of the tournament but was dropped from the playing XI and was not included in the ODI squad thereafter. He scored 3138 goals in only 72 matches.
Fakhar Zaman came under the scanner after he tweeted for Babar Azam after the opening batsman dropped the right-hander from the Pakistan team for the Test squad against the England National Cricket Team. He urged the board not to release star players as the opening cadaver sends a negative message.
After that, a show cause notice was issued by the battered Pakistan Cricket Board. He was dropped from the team after the tour of Australia and Zimbabwe, and not only that, but his central contracts were also terminated for 12 months.
It was also claimed in the news that Mohammad Rizwan was fighting for Fakhar Zaman to enter the team. The wicketkeeper-batsman wants batting first to return to the team, especially with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan around the corner.

Reports claimed that the Pakistan National Cricket Team will make significant changes to their white-ball lineup during the tour of South Africa. Apart from the inclusion of “Fakhar Zaman” and “Imam-ul-Haq”, some other changes are also expected.
Pakistan made serious changes in the ongoing series against Australia. Although the team failed to win the first ODI against the Australian National Cricket Team, the newly appointed skipper Mohammad Rizwan impressed with his leadership skills.

Pakistan National Cricket Team will tour South Africa for a multi-format series. The two teams will clash in a three-match T20I series, followed by a three-match ODI series and a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25.
