Boxing analyst Sergio Mora is doing the job with Terence Crawford by defeating what he sees as the well-worn, slow-feet, undisputed super-middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez, on Saturday night in their Blokraai event on Netflix.
More choices Crawford for a dismay
Sergio, a former 154-pound champion and a pure boxer, picks the fighter with a style similar to his own, Crawford (41-0, 31 COs), to utilize his skills, Jab and mobility at Outbox Canelo (63-2-2, 39 food). Sergio notes that Crawford is now of the same size as Canelo after picking up.
Crawford does not have to attract as much weight as box fans think, as he allegedly rehydrated to the middle of the 170s on August 3, 2024 for his last fight against Israel Madrimov at 154.
“I like Crawford. He looks the size. He has the right tools to beat a fighter like Canelo, who has slowly feet. He is the heavier puncher. He has a lot of wear and tear and was in many battles. Crawford, though slightly older, has less wear and tear on his body, ‘says the analyst of analyst Sergio Mora to Dazn boxChoose who he believes he is less worn, Terence Crawford, to upset the 168-pound Canelo Alvarez four-stroke champion in their legacy fight on Saturday.
Why Crawford carries less
Mora raises a good point over Crawford that has less wear and tear on his body. Although he was older and got 38 on September 28, he was not in the difficult fights during his career because of the less than the opposition he had to deal with.
The secret of Crawford’s durability
Terence fought at 135, 140 and 147 when these weight classes did not have the type of elite fighters with power now competing. So, Crawford went through them without doing damage. He was quickly leaving the 154 section after one grueling fight against Madrimov.
If Crawford had stayed at 154, he probably would have had a lot of wear and tear on his body that would have aged him and tried to defeat these dangerous fighters:
- Abass baraou
- Sebastian fundora
- Jaron Ennis
- Vergil Ortiz jr.
- Bakhram Murtazaliev
- Yoenis Tellaz
- Erickson Lubi
