New York –Coco Gauff’s The identity crisis goes deeper than its service, says an former world no. 1.

The day before the US startup, Gauff hired biomechanical coach Gavin Macmillan, who helped rebuild Aryna Sabalenka’s service in an effort to adjust her distant service.
First World no. 1 Justine Henin Said so much concentration has been in the revised movement of Gauff’s service, many of them lack an even worse weakness: the reign of Roland Garros Champion-Grip-Grip Forehand.
By talking further Eurosport subsequently Naomi OsakA 6-3, 6-2 gafff in the fourth round of the US Open, Henin called the preface of the “catastrophic” gaffe.
“Osaka did what she had to do by playing with her experience,” he told Henin Eurosport. “She didn’t have to force her talent today, showing solidarity and being present.
“We feel from the beginning of the match that Coco Gauff had fallen again in its old ways, not especially in terms of its service, but in terms of its preface, it was catastrophic.
“Of course, this great pressure on the US Open is special for her, but I still think in general, all over the season, and not so much about the results, what worries me is the lack of evolution in her game. At that age you are still progressing, you’re still developing.”
To be right, Guff and Macmillan worked together for about a week before this US Open began. Of course, its service and preface are both developing works.
Reigning Roland Garros Champion Guff said after her loss to Osaka, she felt her service was sharper, but admitted that her blows left her while Osaka constantly hit her, which she lacked net cleaning and depth.
In an open champions match of the US, a sharp Osaka shattered a clumsy gaff, who admitted he felt “a little empty” in court today.
“Naomi played well. Today was, as, disappointing, because I felt it was the best I used to serve everyone
tour. Many Aces, “said Gauff, who matched Osaka with three axes.” Yes, there were some
Doubles, but I thought, like that was a good show from me serving.
“On the ground I think I just made a lot of mistakes, many mistakes, which I feel like this is the part of my game that I felt more confident in getting into the tournament. So it was a strange match, like, feeling safe in different areas they exchange.
“Yes, I mean, it is disappointing. It was certainly not the level I wanted to bring, but it is a step in the right direction I feel, and I think emotionally this week, I think I went inside today, and maybe I was a little empty. She forced me to win every point there today.”

To be sure, Gauff and Macmillan still have a lot of work ahead, but Gauff has already won a clash this season and is reigning champion WTA finals, all at the age of 21, so time is on her side as she aims to grow her game.
“I think today when I walked to trial – and, I don’t know, I feel like I have so much pressure on myself at my age at 21, and I understand how many girls in the tournament are successful in 25, 26, in those ages,” Guff said. “For me it just excites me to figure out if I have another four years working as much as I am now and actually doing the right things, like where my game could be.”
