An Open Open Eru In Erin Hills on Saturday during the 80th game of US women Open.
The USA loaded the day of movement in Erin Hills with some surprises, including Pin and Tee placement in the Para-4 15 hole, choosing to move the top to make it a removable par-4 as it places the location of the pin on the back right.
Change in the 15th short 15th made for incredible theater all day on Saturday, but it is a hole that Esther Henselei would like to forget. The 26-year-old arrived in the 15th hole, even at the same time and six lead strokes. She drew the driver and blocked her turkey on the placement surface, leaving her a 55 -meter kick for the eagle.
This is when the USA diabolic setting slightly back.
Henseleit’s Eagle Putt had to pass a ridge and get a lot of speed to stop near the hole. The submerged point crossed the hole and rolled from the green, finally landing 30 meters away.
Henselei still had a chance to raise up and down, but her third shot did not reach the placement surface and rolled all the way to her feet.
When the dust was finally set, Henseleit was in a double double 6 after driving the green.
She tried by shooting a 2-bi-74 in round 3 and finds herself in the 3rd to the tournament.
Henselei was not the only competitor to be taken by No. 15 on Saturday. Allisen Corpuz, the open women’s champion in the US 2023, hit her sweatshirt in the approximate left Greenside and then threw the second in the bunker. She made a triple trio.
Hopefully, the USA has some other curves to the sleeve for what it promises to be a recent dramatic round of Sunday in Wisconsin.
