Espn reveals “New York Groove” US Open Topic – Tennis Now

A new rotation in an Ace New York Classic is the theme song for the US Open campaign of ESPN.

“New York Groove” by Grammy-Nominee K.Flay, reimagues the song made by guitarist Kiss Ace Frehley.

ESPN revealed the new American -themed song and the accompanying video featuring Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys, Ben Shelton Coco Guff, Liberty Statue and many more famous faces.

The song will be played throughout the open coverage of ESPN in the US.

2025 US Open starts today with the qualifying game and goes by Sunday, September 7.

ESPN platforms will present 15 days of exclusive opening of the US for the first time on Sunday at noon and premiere at ABC. Broadcasting on ESPN app starts at 11am ET until the end of the game every day.

Daily Marathon coverage from all courts – the first ball for the last ball – will culminate with women’s final for bachelors on September 6, at 4am ETSPN, ESPN+, and ESPN Deports and Men’s Single finals on September 7 in ABC, ESPN+ and ESPN Deports.

New Yorkers are familiar with the song made famous by the local ACE in New York Frehley.

For years, his song was played beyond the road from the National Tennis Center to Shea Stadium and then Citi Field to celebrate victories from New York Mets, New York Bayball team honored by tennis stars starting from John MCCEE to Kim Clijsters to Martina Hingis.
