Erling Haaland was caught on camera telling Mikel Arteta to “stay humble” after Manchester City’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the weekend.
City needed an equalizer in the 98th minute from centre-back John Stones to grab a point after ten-man Arsenal had sat back to defend their lead throughout the second half, with emotions boiling over on several occasions.
After the final whistle, when Arteta entered the pitch to speak to his players, he was involved in such an incident with Haaland that turned into a confrontation with a handful of players.
In a clip circulating widely on social media, Haaland is seen telling Arteta, in an apparently aggressive manner, to “be humble, stay humble”, and is clearly waiting for an answer sooner. arsenal Striker Gabriel Jesús intervenes.
