On several occasions, the unbeaten IBF World Welterweight Champion Jaron “Boots” called Ennis one of his career goals, and on Saturday, April 12, Ennis will have the opportunity to get a step closer as he faces the WBA World Welterweight Champion Eimantas Stanionis (15-0, 9 foods).
This battle between the two unbeaten champions will take place in Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Air Live on dazn. Both men will enter the ring as champion, but only one will go out with the WBA, IBF and the Ring Magazine Belt.
In October 2021 after collecting his 28th career victory with a first round about Thomas Dulorme, Boots Ennis continued to exclaim Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. Neither Crawford nor Spence showed interest in facing Ennis, because it would have been a high risk at the time, a low reward of the bolt.
Ennis continued to win, and in January 2023 he defeated Karen Chukhadzhian and won the vacant IBF -TUSShand Welterweight title. Ten months later, the undisputed champion Terence Crawford of the IBF world title was stripped and Ennis was raised to full champion.
Boots Ennis made a big career movement in April 2024 when he reported with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing. The Philadelphia native had his first IBF world title defense in his hometown in the Wells Fargo Center when he stopped David Avanesyan in the 5th round.

The second fight was much more entertaining, but unfortunately for Chukhadzhian, he lost again with unanimous decision. Now Jaron is “Boots” Ennis (33-0, 29 food) ready to follow the first step to achieve a career goal.
Terence Crawford, Oleksandr Ulsyk and Naoya Inoue set the beam by going unchallenged in two different weight classes. Boots Ennis unwilling his attention at 147, and if he wants to pursue it, he could possibly try to duplicate the performance at 154.

Jaron “Boots” Ennis has all the tools needed to build a legendary boxing career. The unification will be the first step for Ennis to take its brand to the next level.
