Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis makes his debut on 154 against the troubled Uisma Lima in the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The battle of 12 round is a WBA Junior Middleweight World title Eliminator to decide a compulsory challenger for champion Abass Baraou. This is not the battle that Ennis (34-0, 30 COs) targets. If he overcomes tonight, he wants the most famous champions, Sebastian Fundora or Vergil Ortiz jr.

What is on stake: WBA title shot
The winner of tonight’s Ennis against Lima match will have a guaranteed title against champion Abass Baraou. Again, this is not the direction in which ‘Boots’ plans to enter. But for Lima, it’s a fight he can take if he overcomes tonight. Of course, a re -broadcast with Ennis will certainly be offered to him as well.
From the beginning, fans were critical of “boots” about his decision to use Lima as his opposer rather than a more well -known, more formidable enemy. For some people, it seems that Ennis’s career is based on taking easy battles, building a fluff and making money without showing any true ambition to stare the best. They expect more of a fighter who is a nine -year -old pro who will soon turn 29.

David Avanesyan-W-RTD 5

‘Boots’ sixth round of the WBA Welterweight Champion Stanionis earlier this year on April 12 was impressive, showing how good he could be against a Slugger coming forward. It was a much better performance for Ennis compared to his victories over Chukhadzhian, Villa and David Avanesyan.
Lima’s recent form

Sukhdeep Singh Bhatti-W-UD 12
Haro Matevosyan-W-RD 10
