Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis officially made it go up to 154 today and predicts that he will become a ‘2x weight champion’. Ennis (34-0, 30 food) says he wants all the smoke at junior middleweight, but has not mentioned any names.
Ennis moves to 154
Fans hope he is doing a better job of choosing the talented opposition at 154, because his resume at 147 is empty of names. He did not fight against Brian Norman Jr. and Theofimo Lopez until he left the welterweight division. Some felt that he had dived the two.
Hearn’s battle strategy
Boots’ promoter Eddie Hearn said he will take a tune-up at 154 against A first ‘World-class gatekeeper‘Before being in Vergil Ortiz Jr. in 2026. Want to fight, in a ‘massive’ fight. People would prefer Ennis to fight against a top-level fighter rather than a tomato, like many of the fighters he fought during his nine-year career.
With Terence Crawford moving to 168 to fight to challenge Canelo Alvarez for his undisputed super -middleweight championship, Jaron can go to the WBA title as soon as it is evacuated or stripped from Crawford to abandon it. Ennis would fight the WBA-Tuss-enthusiast 154-pound champion Yoenis Tellez against the vacant belt. This is who his promoter, Eddie Hearn, should target when he comes to weight in August.
Boots’ welterweight criticism
Jaron has not set fire to the world for the past two years with his recent fighting against Karen Chukhadzhian x 2, Eimantas Stanionis, David Avanesyan and Roiman Villa.

Ennis’s career -poured foundation
Ennis has proven a lot that he does when he goes up, because boxing fans got tired of waiting for him to tackle the murderers at 147. They heard how big boots are, but then he turns around and fights against Karen Chukhadzhian, Avanesyan and Stanionis.
It’s time! 154
You said where the smoke on the right!? Let’s have it then!
