This England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Officially released the men’s Central Contract list for the 2025-26 season, with 30 players under various categories.

According to the ECB, the revised contract system covers both red-ball and white-ball cricket, taking into account each player’s recent form and the likelihood of international selection. A total of 14 players received two-year central contracts, with 12 seniors earning one-year deals and four juniors earning development deals. The move also marks a central contract layer of several debutants, a step towards integrating the next generation of England cricketers into the national framework.

Development contracts and the long-term vision of the ECB
Introduced by the ECB to complete the Great Structure Development contracts aims to nurture future international prospects.
