The premeditated oral attack on De La Hoya was in response to the criticism of Berlanga for trying to pass himself on as a Puerto Rican for his fight against Canelo Alvarez. He is what he is, an entertainer. Berlanga is excellent for opportunities, but he is not the world championship material.
