Edgar Berlanga is apparently the only one to promote next month’s July 12 event at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. The tickets do not sell well. Thus, Berlanga (23-1, 18 CO’s) is acting, providing interviews and posting on social media to encourage fans to buy tickets,
Berlanga stands in front of Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 COs) in the 12-Round main event Dazn ppv at super middleweight. This is an important battle for both, as the winner will get a chance in Canelo Alvarez.
Porter selects sheeraz upset
“I got sheeraz over Berlanga. I got Shakur about Zepeda, ”Shawn Porter said AB Boxing News.
If Porter is right, there will be many shocked fans, because many of them expect Berlanga to beat the former middleweight sheeraz. This is his first fight at 168, and he stands in front of one of the biggest punchers in Berlanga. To stand against this man in Hamzah’s first battle in the division is risky. We know that both of these guys have the power to end it at a moment’s notice. Sheeraz moved eight pounds from 160, but he was such a good puncher at the middleweight, he should be just as dangerous at 168 against Berlanga. The question is: Can sheeraz take it out of the early rounds to land its bombs, because that’s when Edgar is the most dangerous?
