Edgar Berlanga says he wants to “destroy” Hamzah Sheeraz in the first round on July 12 in their headliner in Queens, New York. Berlanga (23-1, 18 costs) believes he will eradicate the unbeaten British fighter, Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 COs) to show the world that he is the dog in the Super Middleweight division.
It will also put Berlanga in the pole position to get it “Big bag” Against the superstar Canelo Alvarez next February. This is the battle that Edgar targets. Sheeraz is just a Stepping stone for Berlanga to achieve his goal of facing Canelo in a re-broadcast and as the new king of the 168-LB division.
The first part of Edgar’s two -fight goal to become the new monarch of the Super Middleweight Division is the first part of Edgar’s goal.
Berlanga Destroy Sheeraz: First Round Ko?
“I came up with me a lot, and I want to destroy this guy. I have to destroy this guy. It could be in the first round, ‘Edgar Berlanga told the ring Magazine Youtube Channel about his fight against Hamzah Sheeraz on July 12.
#2 WBO-ranked Berlanga needs a statement on Sheeraz to be on the opponent of Canelo Alvarez next February. The belief is that Turki Alalshikh pulls for Sheeraz to win, so he can use him as the man facing Alvarez.
A fight between Canelo and Hamzah would play great in the UK with the British fans – many of Turki’s opportunities centers around catering for the British audiences rather than the Americans. Sheeraz would fit perfectly into Turki’s plans to build another British fighter than a cog to achieve the interest in a fight with Alvarez.
Unbeaten sheeraz get ‘a kinkhing’ **
“He’s going to get a ** kinkie. Everything he says and talks, and he is with (coach) Andy Lee. They pull each other off. You don’t run, p ****. You don’t run. I have a left hook on my chin, Bro, and got up like it was nothing, ‘Berlanga said in the second round last September.
Sheeraz, 6’3 ″, is not a runner -up. He does not have the mobility in his stork-like frame to move around the ring. What he will do is stand and trade with Berlanga, hoping to catch him with a big shot as he did to 17 of his opponents during his short eight years of career.
Is Sheeraz a hype work?
Berlanga can put the spotlight on Sheeraz, which has been well managed by his promoter since he became Pro England in England in 2017. This battle will reveal or fans are correct in labeling of Hamzah, a classic example of a hype work with an artificial 21-0 record built almost entirely on fluffy opposition.
Sheeraz’s last fight against WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames, in which he received a controversial 12 round draw, has already shown that he is not a legitimate fighter at the top level. There must have been a re -broadcast to remove the controversy over the results of the struggle. Sheeraz may have seen the letter on the wall and thought it was better to avoid a second fight after his bad experience.
If Hamzah can’t fight better than Adames, he’s not going to hold more than a few rounds against Berlanga on July 12.
