There are a lot of bright young guns in EA FC 25 and a lot of them play as left back.
Although not the most glamorous position on the pitch, having a competent young left-back capable of stifling the likes of Bukayo Saka, Mohamed Salah and Lamine Yamal is absolutely essential.
So whether you’re an Ultimate Team supporter or a fan of Career mode, here are the best young left backs (23 and under) in EA FC 25.
Including players who have a starting or alternative left-back position, Lyon Women Selma Bacha is the highest rated in this year’s EA FC. The French defender, who can also play on the wing, is 86 years old despite being only 23 years old.
She is not the only footballer in the top 20, with the Atlético de Madrid duo Andrea Medina (80) i Rosa Otermin (78) compatriot joined him Paula Thomas (79) from Aston Villa. 23 years Sara Agrez from Koln is also on the list with an overall score of 79.
As for the men’s game, there are some fast entrants in the top 20, the highest rated of which is Paris Saint-Germain. Nuno Mendes (83). He is accompanied by the Real Madrid star Edward Camavingawho is a central midfielder by trade, but can feature on the left side of the defence.
Destiny Udogie (82), Alfonso Davies (82) i Alexander Balde (80) will all be popular picks in Ultimate Team given their raw athleticism and speed, with a more defensive mindset. Yes Guardiol (83) i Piero Hincapie (81) least wanted.
The Premier League boasts some impressive young left-backs, including Rayan Ait-Nouri (79) i Ian Maatsen (79) from Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa.
