Ducati rider coach admits they ‘lost the battle’ with Francesco Bagnaia for the 2025 MotoGP season.

Manuel Poggiali admits Ducati has ‘lost the battle’ with Francesco Bagnaia in 2025.

When it appears on Mig Babul PodcastDucati rider coach Manuel Poggiali has spoken about the seasons of Marquez and Bagnaia in 2025, highlighting the problems the latter has faced.

Poggiali said, “This year is obviously a very important season. Marc’s victory was very emotional, partly because of the difficulties he faced, partly because of his character, his restart and how he won this season.”

“At Peco, there is nothing we can say. In short, it was not a season that lived up to expectations or aspirations, but it was a season that will not make us forget that we still have two extraordinary riders.

“Two riders can finish first and second by fighting for victory in every race. This should be the basis for us not to lose motivation.

“You have to work to make things work as usual, you have to commit yourself every day, you have to find those solutions or make changes that allow you to take a stable step, that is a step that will always allow you to be competitive.

“That’s probably what we lacked this year, but we didn’t lose the battle, we lost the battle, we lost a year with Peco, but luckily, we have a way to make up for it in the new year.”
