Welcome I tried itA series of golf.com about golf articles – clothing, clothing, additional accessories, etc. – that we have recently taken for a spin. We are here to give honest, the non-frills gets for the latest and the biggest items of golf or golf. So move down to read about what we want for the latest (or new to us) products of golf.
I admit – I have put the ribbon quite high when it comes to golf shoes. Not only should they look great (Priority No. 1!), They should also be comfortable and double like everyday dress. Maybe it makes me an ultra golf Nerd, but I wear my golf shoes everywhere: dog walks, school jogging, weekend actions – all! I have never been a kind of change-of-the-day girl-to-parking-lot. I arrive with my golf shoes and leave them with them because my golf shoes and life shoes are the same.
What I want for modern golf shoes is the fact that outsoles without spik makes it possible. (Don’t worry-I promise I’m not clicking by climbing the city on softspins.) Sneakers can not double like golf shoes, but my favorite golf shoes can certainly be doubled like sneakers, and I really faint on that front. Multi-functional dress is all rage in the world of golf now, and shoes are no exception.
Duca del cosma’s dress
Last year, I tried my first pair of Duca del Cosmas -O Italian brand of golf shoes founded in 2004. The shoes were super fashionable in a noticeable way, with excellent accents, colorful-shades with real statements, and I was really amazed at comfort and durability. So, with a few weeks of summer trips, I decided to try another pair of Ducas, but this time, I wanted to climb something more neutral.
To attempt to minimally pack For a Trans-Atlantic family itinerary, I decided to pack only a pair of truth-a long order! I wanted something that could go with jeans and shorts, which looked quite polished for alfresco dining and yet were comfortable enough to handle miles. I went down to the Licata – a waterproof white shoe with beige accents that went with absolutely every article of clothing I brought.
Duke of Cosma Licata
Waterproof and comfortable with an extraordinary syllable. These light golf sneakers will make you ready for 18 holes and beyond.
Cosma’s Duke of Performance
What I love most about lichens is the comfortable outer-the-the-the-box comfort. Thanks to my earlier Duca experience, I was willing to run the risk of wearing Licatas for the first time on the day of departure, which could have resulted in a bubble-filled catastrophe and a week of misery lined with flip-flop as I recovered. Instead, I was glad to find the adaptation to be wide in the leg and snug box, but not very delightful, around the foot. The shoes traversed any kind of terrain with easily – as it should be, they are made for golf! – And I didn’t even try them in the course until returning from the trip. It is not surprising, they shone even in the grass.
Another detail that earns high signs: Contrast lace! I cannot be the only person who loves white shoes for exactly the day before fresh lace is damaged with dirt. I have no patience not to leave a shoe, wash the lace and buried them. With lichens, I noticed that even if the shoes accumulated some easily cleaned smudges on a given day, they were easily removed from the upper microfiber of the shoes, and the overall appearance remained clean and excellent thanks to the sheets, which may also have been filthy, but you certainly cannot say.
One last observation: the comfort of these shoes remained the same as or without socks. This is meaningful! As an elderly millennium who has not yet to donate crew socks, I am happy to report that this shoe can handle an ankle with aplomb. You can buy the entire Duca del Cosma shoe line for men and women here.
