Callaway has three new drivers only in time for masters.

with Masters just around the corner and a premium for running a necessity in Augusta NationalCallaway is emitting three new weapons for players to use tee.
The new driver Callaway Elyte Elyte, Elyte Triple Diamond Max and Elyte Triple Diamond Tour Drivers are designed each with unique performance benefits – perfect time as the best in the world prepare to see the first year and most of the country begins the Golf season.
Here are 4 things to know about the new Elyte Mini driver, Elyte Triple Diamond Max and Elyte Triple Diamond Tour Driver.
1. Mini that is not so mini
Driver Callaway Elyte Mini made his debut at PGA Tour two months ago at WM Phoenix Open and is the second mini driver; Paradym AI-Smoke Mini Driver debuted last year.
Like last year’s model, Elyte Mini retains 340 cc size of the club, making it The largest mini driver in the market and more than twice the size of Elyte 3-Dru. It also has a shaft that is half -inch longer at 43.75.
Why is it important? Because a larger head size means more Moi, which makes Elyte mini even more forgiving, as a driver, while still moving from the ground.
“I think you have two options a mini driver or a big road. We feel like mini driver size is more optimal for shots from tee,” said Jacob Davidson, Global Tour’s Callaway VP and product strategy, Golf told him.
While AI-Smoke Mini had adjustable weight of adjustable front and rear CG, the new Elyte model contains a rear-weight port with three settings for draw, pallor and neutral.
In accordance with The rest of the elyte lineElyte mini contains the new AI10X face of Callaway, which gives designers full face control for the first time. It also has the thermofformed carbon crown, which lowers CG and makes the club easier to start the deck.

2. A club for both tour players AND Handicapa
Callaway believes the mini driver is growing due to the unique ability of the club to suit both professionals and amateur players alike.
“There is a phenomenon that happens there, and it is very rare that you see this, but the best players in the world are seeing the benefits of mini driver and higher disabilities and very rarely they pass on the very opposite sides of the spectrum,” Davidson said.
Davidson said most of the good ones are using their 3-masters mostly outside and if they hit them out of the ground, it is not because they have to ball to stop quickly. Mini Driver allows them to have a more forgiving and longer tee option, while still playing from the ground if necessary.

More thanks and easier to start than a road tree, Elyte Mini Driver is a great alternative when tee precision is primary.
On the other side of the spectrum, many amateurs reach a short, narrow hole and attract their 3-wood because they think it is more forgiving.
“This is partly true and partially untrue,” Davidson said. “The real part is that (3-dude) is easier to hit straight because it is a shorter axis length.
“Partially untrue because a 3-drru does not have a MOI number as a mini driver or driver. A driver will be your most forgiving club, so I think when you get the benefits of both and you say,” I am now giving a average golf player that is shorter, but with a head that has a higher MOI, “they are seeing it.”
3. Something for all
Callaway’s triple diamond designation has been the sign of a driver model run for tour benefits over the past few years, and usually those drivers are smaller and run for players who want to move the ball left-right.
In fact, while increasingly pro -tournaments choose a pallor, OEM have optimized their low rolling platform leaders for pallor throughout the table.
What about elite players still playing a draw?
This is where the new Draw Tour Elyte Triple Diamond Tour enters the game.
This is not your grandfather’s draw driver, as the TD diamond triple (or TD TD, if please) comes from the same shape and head size as the triple diamond 450 cc with a slightly different facial progress and a light -weight bias to promote a right -handed ball flight.

Typical leaders of the draw prejudice are ancient high and have an optical change to promote a closed face of the club, but it is not here. Drawing the tournament is not for correction and shot. This is created for a player who has the type of control and swinging to hit himself, but wants to be safe when they target the right side of the road, their ball will return.
“Last year we saw many of our triple diamond drivers being placed for some of the tours at lower swing speeds,” Davidson said.
When Callaway looked at the data, they saw that while PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour players are increasingly fading, players in the DP -World Tour, LPGA and PGA Tour Champions were all playing draws.
“Instead of just release another triple diamond and let the same happen again, what if we were just giving reps another feather on the tours,” Davidson said. “We can bring that limited fashion to the market only because we feel like there are many customers you like to aim at the right end of the right path and just turn it a little.”
4 even the best want forgiveness
While the Triple Diamond platform is designed for the best ball strikers in the world, even those players have realized that it does not harm to have added pardon.

But players have become attached to the classic and compact diamond shape of the type that gives themselves more to the production of low rotation characteristics than forgiveness.
Last year’s very successful construction Paradym ai-smoke triple diamond maxCallaway is bringing again the low rotation platform, high apology with the TRIPLE Diamond Max.
Davidson said there are some players in the tours using Elyte Core’s most forgiving model this year, but others are more hesitant because of the form.
“There are many boys are like,” man, I just can’t make the transition from a triple diamond shape to a larger trail, “he said.” So here we said, “hey, why don’t we get a triple diamond and just make it a little more forgiving?”
The result is Elyte Triple Diamond Max, which, as the predecessor, contains the same triple diamond cosmetics as the chassis with 36 carbon and the glossy carbon crown and the shape of a more compact player. But Triple Diamond Max is 10 CC largest, at the legal limit of 460 cc.
While the maximum will rotate slightly more than regular TDs for most players, the added prayer is usually a worthy trade.
