When the wind blows, how can you put yourself in success? In the last episode of Emergency 9Stoltz explains his three keys.
3 Drew Stoltz keys to play well in the wind
Stoltz says he likes to oppose the wind effect by playing an opposite shape of shot. So, for example, if the wind is blowing left to the right, it will try to hit a blow that goes from right to left.
But for players who do not yet have that level of control over their balls, there are other ways to fight a rigid breeze, which Stoltz details below.

Stay closer to the ball
“I like to collect the golf ball just a little,” Stoltz said. “It allows me to stay on top of this ball, keep the flight a little more.”
Keep your compact swing
“I just try to cut my back and my follow -up,” he said. “I don’t want a lot of speed to come to the golf ball. The more speed, the more rotation when you raise it in the wind. This becomes really hard to check.”
