Not long ago we shared a list of the best -selling golf balls of last season. This time, we are seeing the premium balls of golf that prevailed in sales last year.
While the balls on last week’s list on average about $ 25 in dozen, leaders in the premium category sell for more than $ 50 in dozen. They include the most popular choices for fiery and serious players who are willing to pay a comparable premium for the performance offered by Multilayer Constructions and Urethane Covers.
As with our previous list, here is the excellent print: Not every country selling Golf Ball reports sales data. With this, sales data for direct customer brands can be enjoyable. That being said, it is also true that, unlike most categories of golf equipment, most golf ball sales still occur on the course, so there is at least one case that the data, although not perfect, are more reliable than they would be for other categories of equipment.
Before we reach the first five, here are some things you can find interesting.
Title prevails
Three of the top five balls of the best -selling golf are manufactured by the title.
For the sake of making a point, throughout the Golf Ball market, five of the top 10 best are made of title and, with the next Pinnacle on the list, six of the top 11 golf balls are under the Acushnet umbrella.
Tournaments against not enough tournament
The best sellers in the title lineup and Tayormade are true tour offers while premium sales for Callaway (Chrome Soft), Srixon (Tour Q-Star) AND Bridgestone (Tour b rx) are driven by non-mild (softer) urethane patterns.
Drawing lines
While it may be true that most players play free items (I claim that what I find is true “#1 ball in golf”), when it comes to the six million fiery players who make up 90 percent of the dollars spent on Golf in SH.BA, the data suggests that most premium/urethane offers.
With that off the road, here is the list.
#1 – Titixist Pro V1

Excluding what I find, there is no reasonable metric that does not put in favor v1 on top of this list. Last season, about 40 percent more units were sold than ball 2 in the market.
What more about to say?
#2 – Titixist Pro v1x

Pro V1X is an interesting number 2 among the premium offers given that it is the ball that comes out most often on the title ball equipment. Taking is that you don’t have to be fixed for compression. Flight and rotation are the things that are most important in adjusting the ball.
It is worth noting: sales of pro v1x units are almost twice those of its nearest competition.
#3 – Callaway Chrome Soft

With the presentation of the Chrome Tour formation, Callaway is directed towards the real tournament of the tournament (and has won some terrain with Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X) and Chrome Soft remains his most -selling urethan offer.
#4 – Taylormade TP5

Following the soft chrome from what does not reach so much, the TP5 is Tayormade’s best -selling model (including Jonomer things). Higher flight and -spinning than pro v1x, it’s not just for tour players. It is a speculation that can work strangely well for slow to average swingers that require higher flight and more rolls through the bag.
#5 – AVX title

Little of an anti-TP5/anti-project V1X, Avx is the lowest ball in the first five. Like Chrome Soft, it’s not what I would call a “tour level” offer, but players love the extra iron distance. Also also the rare soft offer that can work well for high -speed players, especially those who need to reduce rotation significantly.
Other notes

By rounding it: Six to 10 balls among the 10 best -selling balls of golf are Taylormada TP5X, Tour Taylormade’s response, Callaway Chrome Tour, Callaway Chrome Tour XAND Srixon q Tour Q-Star.
Q> z: Srixon’s non-sing Starry slightly exceeded the standard ebony (11th) and exceeded much Z-Star XV (17Th between premium bids).
Pros else v1: Titixi Pro v1x left left (12th among premium offers) Outsells everything in the Bridgetone formation.
About those bridgestone balls: Bridgetone’s bestseller, Tour b rx, is 13Th On the list followed by Tour B xs on 14. Both are behind the company’s Jonomer offers, contact E6 and E12. Strange (to me, however) that the interrupted title speed of the title exceeded the BX tour which, despite being the most played of Bridgestone in the tour, is third for sale among Tour B.

Yes…?: As I said at the beginning, DTC brands data may be nice, but as new data providers appear, we will eventually have a fuller view.
While I don’t have any concrete evidence, I wouldn’t be surprised if vice Only Big 3 and Maxfli was in the territory of Srixon. Kirkland may not be far from the rhythm even though its part of the dollar is likely to resemble a Joneer offer. But, again, this is an educated assumption at best.
Last Note: The data we have contains the 30 main sales models in both categories. If your favorite ball or brand did not make the list, it is because it falls out of what is usually indexed or because the volume of sales is relatively low.
