12th Diana Janet of Russia has hired former Bounty No.1 Dinara Safina as her new coach. Shnaider, a former North Carolina state, was being trained by her father Maxim after parting with coach Igor Andreev.
The 21-year-old will compete in Stuttgart in Red Clay next week, which begins on April 14.
“I am excited to announce that Dinara Safina is joining my team as my new coach. In recent months, I have asked for a partnership like this I am sure it will be great for me inside and outside the court. Dinara is definitely a legend, and I am excited to see what we can do together,” Shnaider wrote.
“As I have taken time to find this new partnership, I am grateful to my father who helped me as my coach. Parents and little brother are my greatest supporters in the whole world and I am grateful for their constant support and love – Dinara and I will see you all in the red clay!”
