Devin needs a victory over Ramirez to get the profitable rematch he got away with against Ryan Garcia. A loss of Ramirez will ruin that dream and send Haney Back to the salt mines, where he is forced to work away with the other hungry predators trying to move forward.
It is understandable that Haney wants the re -broadcast with Ryan, because the money he will make from that fight will be great. But he will not be able to fight just by babbleing things he got from a philosophy book.
If he does not possess the power or the chin to deal with the aggressive style of Jose Ramirez, he will not last against him for long. This man is planning to complete what Ryan Garcia started. He is already talking about attacking Haney’s chin to duplicate what Kingry did, but to finish the work.
