Brian Norman JR manager Adrian Clark says he is ‘told’ that the Devin Haney fight does not happen. He did not give a reason for the exposition of conversations.
Haney-Norman Jr Fight Off
It is logical to assume that Devin and his father, Bill Haney, chose not to fight with big punch-wbo welterweight champion Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 CO’s). Fans believe that the Haney supported the fight, got cold feet after watching Norman Jr.’s last three fights.
Norman Jr. ‘s cruel power
Devin’s chances of winning would have been slim, and would probably have seen what’s about his career, in the combustion oven with a cruel knockout like Norman Jr.’s last opponent, Jin Sasaki, on June 19. He had to be performed from the ring on a stretcher.
The big shots that Sasaki took in the first four rounds would have given Haney a lot of problems. Given how hurt Devin was against Ryan Garcia, it is impossible to see him go more than one or two rounds, and take the types of shots that Sasaki was against Norman Jr..
Many people believe that Bill Haney never had a sincere interest in Devin against Brian Norman Jr. They consider it more about the chase.
Welp, it was fast. Unless I am punk, I am told that there is no battle between Norman Jr. Haney.

The timing of Bill shows interest in that battle immediately after Norman’s knockout victory over Sinsaki last week, helped to hijack the spotlight to give Devin a bad attention.
Fans argue that if Bill had a sincere interest in making the Haney-Norman Jr. battle, why didn’t he try to make it before the clash of Norman Jr.? Why did Bill wait until immediately after the fight for his exclamation?
Haney’s career burns out?
The Haney-Norman Jr. battle was alleged to take place in Saudi Arabia, which meant that Devin would have received another big payday. On the other hand, he probably would have been knocked out early, but at least the dough would have been good.
For Haney to continue to make the big money he made in his last fight against Jose Ramirez, he will have to fight against someone who is popular and dangerous. The re -broadcast with Ryan Garcia in October is no longer an option after his loss of Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero in May last year.
