Deric ‘Scooter’ Davis in Action on Jeter Promotions Card

On Saturday night, November 22nd, newly signed, undefeated Top Rank prospect Deric “Scooter” Davis will be in action on the Jeter Promotions fight card titled ‘Night Of Championship Pro Boxing 19’.

Listed as the special attraction, Deric Davis is an extremely talented lightweight from Washington, DC. The loaded Jeter Promotions fight card will take place at the Maryland Live Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland.

Deric Davis shined as an amateur when he posted a record of 158-17. He made his pro boxing debut in April 2023 when he stopped Kyungdeuk Kim in the first round. Davis would go on to stop his next four opponents.

Scooter Davis got a big opportunity to showcase his talent in March 2025 when he was added to the Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach preliminary fight card. It was a fight of two undefeated fighters as Davis faced Jamal Johnson.

Scooter Davis worked off a stiff power punch and dropped Jamal Johnson as he landed a flurry of hard punches in the middle of the opening round. Johnson was able to get up, but seconds later he hit the canvas for a second time when Davis landed a sharp left hook.

Johnson was able to get back up, but he was in no shape to continue, and the referee stepped in to stop the match. In his most recent ring appearance, Deric Davis stopped Leandro Damian Medina in the second round when he landed a devastating left hand shot to the body.

About a week after stopping Medina, 23-year-old Deric “Scooter” Davis (8-0, 8 KOs) signed a long-term promotional contract with Top Rank Boxing. Immediately after signing with Top Rank, Davis talked about his big career move.

“It’s a testament to my hard work and God’s plan for me. People didn’t break down my door to sign me when I turned pro, but I trusted the process,” Davis said. “The fact that Top Rank saw something in me means so much. I’m ready to do my thing and show the world what I’m all about.”

Deric “Scooter” Davis is a blue-chip prospect who has the will and the skills to become a future world champion. On Saturday night, November 22, Davis plans to make a statement when he steps into the squared circle to face his opponent, Kaylyn Alfred.
