Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has agreed a deal with Napoli ahead of what could be a major January transfer.

The Argentine international seems to have taken a step closer leaving Man Utd for a big move to Serie Aalthough club-to-club agreement is still required.

This is according to fileswho adds that negotiations for this deal are progressing very well, although Napoli’s offer is still slightly below what the Red Devils are asking.

“What the hell is he doing?!” Which former Liverpool star says she was ready to ‘kill’ Luis Suarez after training ground incident?

Garnacho has been heavily linked with both Napoli and Chelsea also by Fabrizio Romano, with the Italian journalist who published it today on X…

Garnacho has mainly been a key player for United and looks like a promising young talent who could have a big future in the game, although it is perhaps also easy to see why the club would be tempted to take him.

The 20-year-old has not been consistent enough and, like the telegraph have alluded to, there are some question marks about his temperament.

Even if some United fans will be unsure about selling such a young and outstanding player halfway through the season, perhaps it could end up being the best thing for everyone involved.

For United, it gives them money to work with in the transfer market and a sizeable profit from a player previously signed in their academy.

This could allow Ruben Amorim to invest in other areas or replace Garnacho with someone who fits his system better.

Meanwhile, it could also be best for the player himself, as a fresh start may be what he needs to reignite his career after suffering a dip in form for United this season.

Many other top talents have also struggled at MUFC in this challenging post-Sir Alex Ferguson era, so Garnacho should not be ashamed to also feel he needs to look elsewhere to get back on track.
