Oscar de la Hoya offered Theofimo Lopez to get on board and come with Golden Boy if he no longer has a promoter. De la Hoya says he wants to transform the two-division champion Theofimo into a ‘PPV star’.
Lopez apologizes to Turki
Yesterday, TheOFIMO (22-1, 13 CO’s) publicly apologized to Turki Alalshikh for the offensive remarks he made on social media about him and called him a ‘dicktator’. There was no answer from Turki yet. If Teo can do things with Turki, he may not need De la Hoya. He can make big money to fight on Alalshikh’s Riyadh season cards against Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia.
Homophobic remarks cross -line
With some of the remarks Lopez made about Turki, it is doubtful that his apology will be accepted. He crossed the line with the homophobic property.
Theofimo did not look very impressive against Arnold Barboza jr. On the 2nd Times Square card in New York. He won the battle with a unanimous 12 -round decision against Barboza JR, but it was very boring movement. Some fans enjoyed the Aofimo to withdraw the ring, but the majority of those who love action considered it unworthy to be on PPV.

Career Course mode?
De la Hoya will not be able to keep theophimo artificial if he cannot defeat the top fighters at 140, such as Gary Antuanne Russell and Richardson Hitchins. Lopez urges a fight against Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. Fans consider it a sign that he has paid in, and just try to get the biggest payday he can before his career sinks into the ooze.
