Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 costs) wasted his moment in the spotlight on Friday night and cried two champions who would not fight against him, Gervonta Davis and Vasily Lomachenko, after his fourth round victory over WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk (19 -1, 9 food) in Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City.

Keyshawn is not going to get the fighters for three reasons:
- Too Large for Section of 135 Pounds: Keyshawn using weight bullying tactics
- Not popular: no names on Keyshawn’s resume
- He would expect to be on the side. It won’t fly
Is size its only skill?
What the whole world saw tonight was that Keyshawn penetrated the ring as a middleweight and used the great advantage over the normal size lightweight busty ranking to defeat him. If boxing had his actions together, Davis would not be allowed to enter the ring so much larger than Bernchyk. There must have been a rehydration rule tonight with a weight test to make the struggle fair.
There is nothing wrong with a fighter who wants to balloon up to 160, just as long as they compete against other middle weights instead of fighting lightweights. Tank Davis and Lomachenko are not going to fight a lightweight at the size of Keyhawn Davis. It doesn’t happen. So, he will have to fight someone, like one of these fighters, if he insists on facing a lightweight:
– Andy Cruz
– Edwin de Los Santos
– Ernesto Mercado
– Raymond Muratalla
– Shakur Stevenson
– Abdullah Mason
– Frank Martin
These fighters may not give the payday he is looking for, but he can at least get some credible names on his resume. He has not fought anyone who had the chance to hit him.
Some of these guys would be prepared to fight Keyshawn, as long as it makes sense, but I doubt he’ll fight against any of the guys.
“Anyone who has the (courage) to fight against me. There are two 135 division champions I would like to fight. If they get the bowels to walk in the ring with ‘The Businessman’, they say to send me a contract, or I’ll send them one, ‘Keyshawn Davis said Top rank box After his victory over Denys Berinchyk Friday night in Madison Square Garden Theater.
